(Real Estate) Owner’s Project Representative

Owner’s project management firm seeking part-time (with possibly full-time potential) Owner’s Project Representative to provide representation in the delivery of complex urban real estate projects for Private Equity Investors.

Duties:
The candidate would provide consulting and construction expertise in many aspects of the project currently held by Coast & Harbor:
  • Provide recommendations on Schedule;
  • Provide Design Review Services;
  • Perform estimating and budgeting;
  • Assist in value engineering if required;
  • Provide Quality Assurance monitoring of the general contractor and all consultants during construction process;
  • briefing of clients on progress;
  • RFI & Submittal review if required;
  • change order review and processing;
  •  tracking of all project financials via cost report;
  • Developer Draw Review;
  • project closeout and punch list; and
  • Execute detailed Monthly reports, following the provided formats supplied by the firm. 
Qualifications:
Candidates applying for the position should have the following minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s and/or experience in the area of Construction Management and Real Estate Development;
  • 5 Years or more of experience as an Owner’s Representative;
  • Capable of performing contract deliverables on their own with very limited direction;
  • Experience on greater than $ 50 Million Dollar Development Projects including Residential, Retail development, Mixed Use Construction, Office Buildings;
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project;
  • Approximately 7-10 years of experience in real estate development;
  • Experience writing detailed reports; and
  • Excellent communication skills.
