Owner’s representative company is looking for a specialized Field Engineer for a GSA Project.
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience in construction inspection work, for projects worth more than $15 Million and experience with Architectural, Civil, and Structural disciple Inspections.

Experience on Federal, or Army Corps of Engineer  or Coast Guard projects is preferred. Retail and Housing project experience will not be considered.
Be capable of performing the following Responsibilities:
  •         Observe the construction work to determine if it complies with the contract documents;
  •         Review and process submittals and RFIs;
  •         Review requisitions for payment;
  •         Review and draft responses to contractor correspondence;
  •         Review and comment on contractor schedule submissions;
  •         Review and prepare analysis of change order proposals;
  •          Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports;
  •          Assist with uploading to ePM and other administrative tasks; and
  •          Assist the Project Manager to administer the punch list and perform other tasks to support close out of the Project.
       The candidate will be expected to having the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Knowledge of construction methods and techniques
Ability to interpret Architectural/Engineering plans and specifications
Familiarity with modern construction products and applications
Experience in evaluating systems to meet scope requirements and to verify the adequacy of all building systems
Experience in conflict resolution
